The points below describe how to configure your browser in order to get the most out of your Strong Brain experience.

Note about using different web browsers: Many of the interactive pages of the Strong Brain
site require moderately modern browsers supporting the so-called AJAX features.
On all platforms, the free Firefox browser
(which can be installed and used alongside any other browser) is an excellent choice on any
platform: Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux.
The recent versions of
MS Internet Explorer,
Safari,
and
Opera
are all generally adequate

Enabling JavaScript: This site uses JavaScript on most pages. Please set your browser to enable JavaScript.
For the different browsers, proceed as follows:
- For Firefox, go to Tools > Options, and click on Content.
Make sure the box is checked for "Enable JavaScript".
- For Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options, and click on Security.
- If there is a slider bar, move the slider to Medium.
- Otherwise:
- Click on the Custom Level button at the bottom of the window.
- In the Security Settings window scroll down until you get to the section called Scripting (near the bottom).
Under Scripting locate the category Active scripting; then click the radio button for Enable.
- For Safari, go to Safari > Preferences, and click on Security.
Make sure the box is checked for "Enable JavaScript".
- For Opera, go to Tools > Preferences, and click on Advanced.
